Our chalets are located in the countryside, very close to the city of São Paulo, on a plot of 52,000 square meters of preserved Atlantic Forest, on the edge of the lake of the Jaguari reservoir, surrounded by incredible views of the mountains or reservoir. Our guests can rent a kayak for a water adventure. In the dam area, we have a lounge with a sandy beach, sofas, hammock, swing, barbecue table and bathrooms. We have great fiber internet for Home-Office. We also have: A beautiful swimming pool overlooking the mountains made of bio-construction, children's playground, equipped kitchen, outdoor kitchen with stove and wood oven, game room, rest deck with TV and Wi-Fi, adult and children's library, space for outdoor physical activity, fire pit area and trails. We offer tourism in a sustainable way and with respect for the environment. The chalets and our pool are bio-constructed. Water treatment is done by biodigester or banana tree pit, both ecological systems that return clean water to the environment without the use of chemicals. We leave clay water filters in all rooms and recommend a reusable bottle to use on our premises, avoiding single-use plastics. Cleaning is done with biodegradable, anti-allergy and vegan products. We use pruning material and fallen branches as firewood for fireplaces, ovens and bonfires. In the bathrooms, we use paper trash bags and cruelty-free glycerin soaps. The kitchens are equipped with biodegradable bar soap and vegetable sponges from small producers. Come learn more about permaculture and sustainability! Caretakers live on the premises. Guest access We have parking in front of the cottage. Other things to note The rooms do not have a television, aiming at greater integration of people and greater contact with nature. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms with good speed. We charge an additional daily fee for pets in the amount of R$75.00. We have no service or restaurant. We have a small emporium with items such as juices, beers, wines and products from local suppliers, such as jams, compotes, antipasti, handmade pasta, and handmade sauce. All accommodations (except the tent and the duende cottage) are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and basic utensils for preparing meals. We also have our fully equipped main kitchen, which everyone can use. It has a gas stove, a wood-burning stove and oven, a microwave and various utensils. Around the site, we have three barbecue grills, two of which are charcoal and one is a floor fire that uses firewood. There are also restaurants that deliver. You can also go to a restaurant as we are 8 minutes away by car from downtown Igaratá. We are in the middle of nature and with that there are many species of animals and "dirt" from the forest. Our fauna is rich and diverse, full of beautiful birds (toucans, woodpeckers, parrots, among others), butterflies, squirrels, wild animals and and insects that are part of the scenery. For example, spiders that make their webs in minutes in the outdoor areas. Thus, we warn you that with all the nature there is no possibility of keeping the external areas 100% free of dust, cobwebs, leaves in the pool, etc. And so, we learn that what looks like dirt in the city is just a way of life in the country. Nature is fast and beautiful, how about learning to live in harmony with it here with us?
