The English Country Bungalow is a peaceful one-bedroom retreat set within 2.5 acres of lush gardens at Casa Kukana, offering sweeping views of the ocean, jungle, and town below. Guests enjoy complete privacy and a tranquil setting, while still being just minutes from Sayulita’s beaches and vibrant town center. The space English Country Bungalow at Casa Kukana The English Country Bungalow is a peaceful one-bedroom retreat set within 3 acres of lush gardens at Casa Kukana, offering sweeping views of the ocean, jungle, and town below. Guests enjoy complete privacy and a tranquil setting, while still being just minutes from Sayulita’s beaches and vibrant town center. The property is a 6–8 minute walk into town, or you may choose to rent a golf cart (approximately $50USD per day), which we’re happy to arrange in advance. Golf carts make getting to the beach, restaurants, and shops quick and especially convenient in the evenings. The Bungalow This charming bungalow features: One bedroom with a queen-size bed and mosquito net Dining area and a large built-in couch (suitable for one additional sleeper) Spacious bathroom with a unique rock waterfall flowing into the bathtub Air conditioning Smart TV The mini kitchen is fully equipped with a medium-sized refrigerator, two-burner gas stove, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, cookware, and dishes—perfect for preparing breakfast or light meals. Most guests enjoy breakfast at home and dine out for lunch and dinner, taking advantage of Sayulita’s excellent restaurant scene. A newly added private terrace offers a beautiful spot for morning coffee, with views of the ocean and gardens. Pool & Grounds Casa Kukana features a lovely pool area with a Bali-style bungalow on a grass platform—ideal for relaxing, reading, or enjoying the view. Lounge chairs and umbrellas surround the pool, providing a peaceful place to unwind while overlooking the sea and town. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, with comfortable built-in seating areas perfect for relaxing or working remotely. Location & Activities Casa Kukana is within walking distance of town and local beaches, and also close to some of the area’s most beautiful and secluded spots: Playa de los Muertos – a short walk toward the jungle, great for swimming Carricitos Beach – about a 10-minute walk, secluded with natural rock pools and incredible scenery Sayulita is well known for beginner and intermediate surfing, with additional surf spots nearby for all levels. Guests can also enjoy jungle walks, bike rentals, guided tours, and outdoor adventures. The town offers a wide variety of dining options—from local taco stands to international cuisine, including Italian, sushi, vegetarian options, and the renowned Don Pedro’s, a romantic oceanfront restaurant under a grand palapa. Other things to note Sayulita is a very eclectic Bohemian town, with something for everyone. Great restaurants from 5 star to your local taco stand. You can eat somewhere different every night, there are so many to choose from. Disclosure: Sayulita is a small village with limited services. There may be times when we have no water, no electricity and no internet. This is mostly an issue during the summer rains but can happen anytime of year. We do our best to solution every issue but it is out of our control.
