If you are looking for a fancy all inclusive accommodation, we might not be the best choice; but if you are looking to have some real rest in a traditional indigenous cabin, re-connect with nature, photograph birds or trekking, disconnect from technology and city noises, and resides help to preserve all this natural beauty, then Seyakexa is the perfect choice! The space We are not a Hotel, and we hope that you take the place as yours during your visit. This means that you can use the kitchen, make your meals, and enjoy the place while you stay. But we are also ready to help you if you want it, by offering extra services like a breakfast and lunch menu, food (vegetables and fruits) shopping, daily tours and ecological walks. Guest access You can use the whole cabins while you stay here. Enjoy a good breakfast in the dinning room while you see the Sierra Nevada and plan the morning. Take a good book and spend the morning in a Hammock or go out for a walk. Gather at the dinning room and prepare a good lunch while chatting. Continue your book in the afternoon and take a good bath before dinner. Light some fire, turn all the lights off and de amazed with the amount of stars that you can see in a clear night. Other things to note We are located at the top of a mountain, at 200 meters above the sea level, entering through the Guachaca river to the Sierra. We are close to the sea, about 12 km, we are not located on the beach, nor do we have an ocean view from the cabin, instead we see the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. There is no vehicle entry and the walk is between 2.5 km from the parking spot to 3,6 km from the bus stop, a little over an hour and a half on the way up, depending on your health conditions. Visitors can rent a mule to assist the climb. It is not a path suitable for wheelchairs or for people with special mobility conditions or walking injuries. We are a civil Nature Reserve, and we hope that you help us to take care of these little paradise by being consciousness of your use of personal soaps, your disposal of waste and care of the use of water.
