A cozy studio apartment located behind a private residence in a quiet neighborhood that is just minutes away from the wonderful blue Caribbean Sea, Bustling nightlife, Sumptuous restaurants and many other amenities. There is a Fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine as well as a BBQ located at the property. The space is Air Conditioned and has a king sized bed as well as a futon that folds down into a single bed. There is a safe located in the apartment. The space This space is fully self contained and private even though it is located behind a residential property. The neighborhood is very quiet but close in proximity to Bridgetown, many amenities, easy public transportation, wonderful nightlife and fantastic restaurants. The area is very central. Right in the heart of the South Coast. The space has one king sized bed and one single bed. There is also a safe. For larger parties there is also a guest suite on the property that can be rented increasing the total occupancy potential to 5 persons. The guest suite has a king bed. It is called Footsteps 2 the Beach. Guest access Guests enter through the main gate of the property and have to pass the main house in order to gain access to the walkway that leads to the apartment. However, the entrance is not intrusive and is pretty much private. Other things to note PROTOCALLS REQUIRED FOR COVID 19 Dear valued guest, below please see a list of Covid-19 protocols that we have in place during your stay with us at “footsteps to the beach”. These have all been mandated by the Barbados Government, and we encourage you to comply with them so that your stay with us will be a safe and enjoyable one. We at footsteps believe that if we all adhere to sensible and practical practices together we can beat this. 1. On arrival you will be received by either Patricia or me, we will maintain social distancing by maintaining a minimum of 3 feet between our guest’s and ourselves. 2. Your temperature will be checked. 3. Both apartments will be outfitted with the following: hand sanitize, complementary face mask's a sanitizing station at the entrance. 4. Instead of going through all of the protocols item by item, here, both apartments will have a list, and relevant signage and reminders posted. Pat/Geoff Travel advisory Protocols for Visiting Barbados There is a comprehensive website you can search (visitbarbados.org) this site has details of everything you will need to know prior to travelling to Barbados. For quick reference below please see listed a summary of the main points. 1. All travellers must complete an online immigration and customs form. On completion you will receive a digital certificate which must be presented upon arrival. 2. You will be required to take a Covid-19 PCR test (WHO or CDC approved) 72 hours prior to travel and submit your results online using the aforementioned form. 3. If you are unable to have this test done in your home country you will be required to have one done upon arrival in Barbados. 4. If your test is positive you will be transported to a government approved isolation facility until you have fully recovered upon which time you may resume your vacation. 5. Those persons who are deemed to have been in contact with a positive case will be required to isolate at an approved government facility, there are four hotels that have been designated as isolation facilities where you can isolate at your expense, and otherwise there is a government facility available. 6. Please take careful note that people coming from countries deemed as ‘High Risk’ (currently the USA is considered high risk) will be required to isolate at a government facility for seven days regardless of their PCR test results. On completion of the 7 days, they will be tested and once given the all clear they may begin their vacation. We strongly advise all of our prospective guests to proceed to the government website listed above for a full outline of all protocols and procedures. Please note that in 2018 the government of Barbados implemented a Shared Economy Levy of 10% of the booking fee for all qualifying accommodations such as ours.
