Lily Pond Cottage, natural wonder!

This cabin is surrounded by woods and wildlife. It faces a spring-fed pond, on 59 acres of woodland trails. It’s not every day that a guest can sleep, windows open, surrounded by woods or enjoy rain falling on a tin roof. Awakening to see the mist on the pond or a great blue heron take flight, to feed the fish and turtles from the pond pier deck, to watch the gentle longhorns amble by—these are priceless moments to share or enjoy alone. The space Lily Ponds Cottage is a private chalet tucked into the woods outside New Ulm, TX, halfway between Austin and Houston. It faces Lily Pond with a swing on the pond dock, the pond a perfect ecosystem for native wildlife. Both Lily Ponds Cottage and Bluebonnet Cabin are on Curly Q Refuge, a wildlife sanctuary.
