This is a marvelously bohemian stay, unique, cozy and artistic in many ways. Centered in Bend's historical district you are 3 blocks from downtown in one direction and 4 blocks from a burgeoning extension of downtown in the other direction, as well as centered amongst a few neighborhood diners close by. The Deschutes river, several city parks, including Drake park, and the Old Mill are easy strolls away. The house is like a geode, a bit rough on the outside and a total gem on the inside! The space This is a house that has been split into a Duplex. So you will have full access to one side of the Duplex and be relatively unaware of your neighbors, which are absolutely fabulous and friendly people should you pass them. The main bedroom has a set of japanese-style sliding doors and a queen bed. The second room is a common room with multiple floor mattresses that can be arranged into 1-3 sleeping areas as needed. Make either one King-size bed, or 2-3 double beds. There is utensil-stocked kitchen, a bathroom with towels and toiletries and a small dining room. Guest access Guests have access to the entire inside of the house, but not the backyard or porch. Those are the property of the other duplex users.
