From our two large decks and patio overlooking the beach, you can observe flocks of parrots and other tropical birds flying by or watch the howler monkeys in the trees and the iguanas in the spacious yards. In the mangroves below, the crescendo of birds, frogs, crickets and other creatures is quite melodious. At night you can marvel at the starlit sky, watch the bats zipping around, see the geckos scampering after moths while chirping loudly, and enjoy the blinking lights of the fire flies. You are connected with nature, the ocean and the mountains around you, at peace...tranquil! The entire very private 4BR home and its 2.5 acre tropical hillside that descends to the mangroves and beachfront is available for your use. Wheelchair access is provided from the parking area to the main lower level of the home and safety rails are provided in the master bedroom toilet and shower areas and the outdoor shower. A shower chair and handheld showerhead are provided in the master bedroom shower Upstairs access to the two upper bedrooms and sundeck require that you can climb the spiral staircase from the main floor. The Samara/Carrillo Area: Only a few kilometers down the beach road from Playa Carrillo is Playa Samara, a vibrant native tourist area where you will find a broad variety of waterfront and other restaurants, live evening entertainment, water sport rentals, surf schools, fishing charters, internet cafes, adventure travel agencies, bike, ATV and auto rentals, two hardware stores, doctors offices, two banks with ATMs, tourist shops, grocery stores, a butchery, two pharmacies, churches plus massage and language schools. Many beachfront restaurants are available for dining and swimming in the always warm, calm and beautiful Pacific waters. An organic foods, restaurant, massage and yoga center is located in town. Samara even has its own exciting zip line right in town. Local bus service is provided between Carrillo and Samara, taxis are abundant and private van service locally and throughout Costa Rica is also available.
