NO PETS! Enjoy beautiful sunsets from this year-round lakefront cottage on Upper Post Lake in the Wisconsin north woods. Fish, swim, and water ski from the private dock. Relax by the fire and watch the eagles and listen to the loons. Located on the ATV and snowmobile trails. Walking distance to the local bar and grill. Updated two-bedroom house with full kitchen. Lovely getaway for a weekend or longer! No pets allowed! The space Post Lake is 1100 acres with northern, crappies, bass and some walleye-great fishing all year round. Public boat landing is less than a mile away. There are NO “No wake/ski hours” on the lake, you can ski or tube right from the dock from sunrise to dusk. Access to Lower Post Lake is through a channel. Washing machine and dryer are in the basement with 10 steps. Gas grill in backyard for your use. Firewood provided for the firepit. Winter- Snowmobile trail access from the house. Moccasin cross-country ski trails 10 miles away. Guest access Full house * Private Garage not accessible to guests Other things to note The Headwaters of the Wolf River is accessible from Northeast corner of Upper Post Lake. Great place to kayak or enjoy a more natural habitat, mainly forested area with very few homes. Powerboats can access this area, there are some no wake areas up the river. North Trail Market in Elcho has multiple kayaks & paddle boards available for rent ( as of 7/12/26 they deliver to Post Lake - check time/prices in our guest guide) if you need more than the two kayaks that we provide at the Airbnb. July 4th If you are lucky to book the weekend closest to the 4th of July. The Post Lake fireworks are directly in front of our property watch them from on the boathouse or dock. This is one of the busiest times on the lake. You need to be open to lots of people celebrating July 4th around you (including private fireworks around the lake), if you book this weekend.
