The space Casa Guanacaste del Sur, at villas Ecositas Nosara, is a hand-crafted teak timber framed Ecosita (ecological casita) constructed with all locally sourced natural materials. The structure is built based on ancient Japanese design and building systems, providing an ideal living space for the local environment and climate. Casa's Guanacaste share a common area that divides the structure into two separate, and private, living units. Following the patterns of traditional Japanese timber framing, each unit, and the central common area, have beautiful open and airy, joined timber framed cathedral ceilings, adding to the sense of spaciousness. Now enjoy the new saltwater pool (no chlorine) and large surrounding deck to cool down in the mid-day sun or relax with a good book and your morning coffee or evening cocktail with family or friends. Both del Norte & del Sur have a private covered porch and a security bodega off the porch to store surfboards, bicycles, beach chairs & umbrellas. etc. Each unit is open, spacious and airy with beautifully tiled bathrooms and fully appointed kitchens with granite counter tops. The kitchens are equipped with all utensils and appliances necessary to prepare even the most robust gourmet meals. The Ninga blender is a guest favorite for blending your favorite smoothie using the fresh local tropical fruits. If your timing is ripe, you may find ripe papayas on the papaya tree right outside your door. Casa Guanacaste can be reserved as a complete unit for large families or groups, sleeping up to 8 people, or as individual units, sleeping up to 5 people. Casa Guanacaste is so called as it sits in the shadows of an ancient 400 year old Guanacaste tree, which is the tree of the province they call Guanacaste.
