The Arches is a secluded 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath luxury villa with a private pool that overlooks Dawn Beach and Oyster Pond. Tastefully decorated, this wonderful villa provides a great escape for that once in a lifetime family vacation, honeymoon or special anniversary. The views from the Arches are truly stunning and your stay with us will be the most memorable ever! The space Housekeeping services are available 6 days per week. Our home is maintained by a lovely couple who have been caretakers of the property for almost two decades. They will clean on a mutually agreed upon schedule and are on-call 24-hours a day should a problem arise. Our home manager will meet you at the airport (additional fee) or at the villa to provide keys, gate access and a tour of Villa Arches. The Arches is a private home, yet convenient to all amenities including restaurants, shopping, casinos, water sports and much more. We are only a 10-minute drive to the famous Orient Beach! Guest access Guests are welcome to access all areas of the home. Owners closets are locked and unavailable to guests. Other things to note St. Maarten is the Dutch side of the island where our home resides. The official currency of Dutch St. Maarten is the Guilder. The other side of the island is St. Martin, which is French. Their official currency is the Euro; however, both sides of the island will accept the US Dollar. In some instances, on the French side, restaurants will offer 1:1 if you pay in cash/US Dollars. Visa and Master Card are widely accepted. Smaller restaurants, however, may not accept credit cards. ATMs dispense Guilders and Dollars on the Dutch side and Euros on the French side. St. Maarten/St. Martin does not require that you carry your passport while traveling from one side of the island to the other. However, you should carry a valid driver's license. Although Dutch and French are the official languages on the respective sides, English is widely spoken.
