Our place is situated in a deserted and pristine beach, where the tropical rainforest meets the ocean. You can spend the mornings or afternoons exploring the virgin beaches and rivers. Our beach is safe for swimming but also perfect for surfers (all levels). The nearby beaches Pan Dulce, Backwash and Cabo Matapalo have great surf spots as well and they are located only 4-5km drives. Inside our lodge, you will have very close encounters with Squirrel Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, White-face Capuchins, as well as Howler Monkeys. They use our place as a biological corridor and you can watch them daily eating from our trees, feeding their babies, playing and running all over. During July & August/October & November, you can watch whales swim, jump, and play as close as 100 mts from the beach. We can offer a diverse selection of excursions, from self-guided kayak tours through the mangroves, kayaking in Bioluminescent Plankton, stand-up-paddle boarding, surfing lessons, forest adventures, bird watching, waterfall hikes, horseback riding, canopy, professional fishing, whale watching tour by boat, visits to local farms and biological reserves. Corcovado National Park is one of the main attractions close by and we are the perfect place to stay the night, while you explore Corcovado by day.
