Amelia’s is comfortable, affordable, modern and clean. It is ideal for friends and families (not suitable for toddlers) wanting to spend time together. The outdoor area provided is great space and there are games available in the apartment to support this. On occasions you can see the local green monkey, playing in the nearby trees. If you like ice cream, there is the most delicious shop a stones throw away serving a range of mouth watering flavours. Lots of eateries at your fingertips. The space Amelia’s is set back off the road and is safe for families and single people. Spacious kitchen with large capacity fridge and freezer. Plenty of cupboards stocked with everything you need. Dining table comfortably seats 4 for dining with Caribbean cross breezes for comfortable eating or playing board games. A modern clean bathroom with stand up shower. A living room with couch and 2 easy chairs for reading and meditation. Two good sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, it sleeps 4. Both bedrooms have eco friendly air conditioning and lots of shelving, storage and hangers. Outdoor eating spaces available. A smoking outdoor area provided with a bench to sit on for you comfort, please ensure that all cigarette ends are fully out before disposing responsibly ( please do not put cigarette ends in the grass). We are doing out bit for the planet by striving to become more environmentally friendly. Our new air conditioning units have motion sensors and will switch off the units if no motion is detected in the room after 15 minutes. We also heat our hot water using solar energy, we are trying our best to be more energy conscious which allows us to keep our prices low for you. We also have a water tank at the back of the apartment where we harvest rain water. This can be used for cleaning dirty feet before entering the apartment. Amelia's is inclusive and we welcome everyone regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, colour or ability. We ask guests to enjoy the accommodation and Barbados and treat both respectfully. Guest access Guests have access to their private flat , with an open ; grassy front yard including a picnic table for outside dining and smoking. Cars can be parked on the grass (not on the stones). Keys are stored in a Key safe for guests convenience. The pasture area is a shared space however, it still remains a private space to relax. There is a water tank behind the apartment for you to use. You can wash off your sandy or muddy feet or simply use it for the toilet in the event the water goes off. There is a washing line at the side of the apartment in addition to a folded rack in the kitchen. There is also seating in the veranda if the day is rainy or too hot. Other things to note Secure key pad holds the keys to access your vacation home. No need to bring the keys to the beach with you everyday simply lock them up! Don’t share the code and scramble the code when you leave to ensure you keep your belongings safe. When your vacation is over please take off all sheets, pillow coverings and place all used towels in the bags provided in each bedroom and leave the bags by the washing machine and we will do the rest. Dispose of all food items in the outdoor dustbins, check that you have not left anything in the fridge, freezer or cupboards.
