I'm a 38 year Alaskan resident who has spent my years driving a dog team and driving boats as captain! Most of my years have been spent in Homer, but I did a tour of Cooper Landing for years so can share the highlights of this charming mountain hamlet. We are happy to help with dining, fishing, hiking, rafting, horseback riding suggestions and we now have a fleet of mountain bikes and ebikes for rent! we are very knowledgeable about the Kenai Peninsula and we love sharing this awesome place we call home and to help you make this the most complete, incredible trip of a lifetime! Very quiet; we are nestled in the woods with literally no neighbors! A 10 minute walk and you are down at the river watching the salmon spawn or enjoy a fantastic hike up further into the mountains on the famous gold rush Resurrection Trail to Juneau Falls! There is plenty of parking right outside your door. There is a commercial van on site that can help with transportation if you need! We have 2 huskies that can be overly friendly; we ask that if you bring your dog, please let us know so we can do a "meet-n-greet". Usually all doggies become besties quickly!
