Rental unit in Portland

Your private ~600 sf apt was designed with vaulted ceilings and natural wood, inspired by a tree house. This apartment was completely redesigned in 2022 with quality furniture, memory foam mattress, art by friends and new TVs along with a set of art books for inspiration. I hear birds most of the day and we have a very private large backyard with large covered porch where you can enjoy the sunny (and the rainy) days. We would be honored to host and share our space with you, thank you. The space Nearly 600 sf, with hardwood flooring (laminate), a 55” TV with cable including all of the channels (HBO, Showtime, on demand, Netflix et al). Decorated with art from friends and myself on the walls, we value a good night's sleep so we purchased a memory foam mattress with pillow top cover which guests seem to love. We renovated the apartment in 2022 and added many skylights along with the blue pine ceiling to the peak of the roof so it feels more expansive and open today. This isn't luxury, but it is comfortable and welcoming after a long day working or exploring portland. I am located 7 blocks from the lightrail (which takes 20 ish minutes to get you downtown) and this is the best and fastest commute to downtown/inner SE from the area that you will find by using SE Mcloughlin, so downtown is less than 15 minutes away. There is some street noise during the day from the 2 lane street outside but the space is extremely quiet and peaceful at night. A large backyard is available to all guests and you are welcome to lounge in the sun for as long as you like. Birds are chirping most of the day, we get to see hummingbirds often and other than rush hour this is an extremely peaceful oasis away from the center of Portland. To be clear, this space has a kitchenette but no full kitchen. There is a microwave, convection oven and refrigerator but there are no cook or stove top burners. Guest access You will have direct, private access to your own 2nd floor apartment in our house and you are welcome to enjoy the backyard and large porch as well whenever you would like to relax outside. Other things to note There is a second airbnb in the same house, so you may encounter other visitors in the backyard. That entrance is entirely separate and on the front of the house, so there is no need to deal with strangers if you don't wish to do so. There is an assigned parking spot in the front of the house, there are lights and signs to guide you to your entrance in the rear of the home, and I will provide you with a code which you will use to access the house with the digital lock that I have installed.
