Nature’s Escape Guesthouse offers a private and peaceful retreat on a quiet three-acre wooded property with a beautiful spring-fed three-quarter-acre stocked pond. Conveniently located just seven miles from Wrightsville Beach and ten miles from downtown Wilmington, the guesthouse provides the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment options, including a nearby movie theater, are also close by. The space The two-floor guesthouse is designed for comfort and convenience. The living area includes a cozy lounge with a 43-inch UHD Smart TV loaded with YouTubeTV, HBO MAX, Netflix, Disney+Hulu, and Amazon Prime. The fully equipped kitchen features a range, microwave, and full-size refrigerator with ice maker, along with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals and a coffee bar stocked with coffee, tea, powdered creamer, sweeteners, and snacks. A dining area offers a comfortable spot for meals or remote work. Upstairs, you’ll find a bedroom with a California king-size bed, a 43-inch UHD Smart TV, and a dedicated desk workspace. The adjoining bathroom includes a walk-in shower. Guests also enjoy complimentary high-speed internet, dual climate control heating and air conditioning on both floors, plus an air purifier and dehumidifier for added comfort. A highlight of recent renovations is the private screened-in porch, the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning, enjoy evening breezes, or simply relax in the fresh air while being sheltered from pests. Guest access Guests are invited to enjoy the vibrant natural setting, complete with wooded walking trails, lush native landscaping with azaleas, gardenias, ferns, and Japanese maples, and the spring-fed pond stocked with fish. Local birds, turtles, frogs, and even the occasional barn owl make the property feel like a private wildlife preserve. Shared outdoor spaces also include a fire pit, though firewood is not guaranteed onsite. Laundry facilities are available on the shared porch behind the main building. Other things to note For insurance reasons, guests must be at least 21 years old to book, and children under 12 cannot be accommodated. We are pet-friendly, though breed restrictions apply to exclude dangerous animals.
