The Mountain View Retreat is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy a combination of luxury and the rustic outdoors. Located on 63 acres near Lexington and Thomasville, the Retreat is an easy drive from many of the major cities in central North Carolina. An ideal spot for couples or solo travelers looking for a place to relax, unwind, enjoy nature, and have a weekend away in the country. 20% weekly/30% monthly discounts. The space The apartment has one bedroom and is otherwise an open concept layout with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area with fireplace, and a pool table. Large windows make the mountain view readily available from many places inside. Once you’re out on the deck, you get a sense of being in a treehouse with nature all around you. The outdoor dining area offers a spot for a romantic dinner or a place to enjoy breakfast and coffee with the morning sun. Choose from a plush love seat, rocking chairs, outdoor couch, or recliner on the deck to soak it all in. Guests have a variety of amenities and activities available to them on the property, including star gazing from the hot tub, relaxing out on the deck while overlooking rolling hills, walking/hiking trails, fishing in the pond or enjoying it by the firepit, and curling up on comfy sofas to read a good book or watch a movie. If you’re looking for more activity, try out the walking/hiking trails, basketball court, or kayaking in the pond. For those who don’t want to completely unplug, Wifi is also available in the apartment. Nearby towns offer antique shops, boutiques, restaurants, and a winery within 20 minutes. Located on 63 acres near Lexington and Thomasville, the Retreat is an easy drive from many of the major cities in central North Carolina: 25 minutes from Asheboro, 30 minutes from High Point, 35 minutes from Greensboro or Winston-Salem, about an hour and fifteen minutes from Chapel Hill or Charlotte, and about 2 hours from Raleigh. For additional guests, there is a mattress that can be set up for use on the floor. The couch can also be used for sleeping, but it is really more suited for an afternoon nap than an overnight rest. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment, decks, hot tub, walking trails, pond area, and basketball court. If you would like to have a fire in the firepit near the pond, just let me know beforehand and I can help you set it up. There are also fish in the pond and you are welcome to bring fishing poles if you’d like to fish. There is one kayak available for your use and feel free to bring your own kayak or canoe. Other things to note Dogs are not allowed in the apartment, but there is a boarding kennel adjacent to the property.
