"Le Phare" - stylish & charming apt near the beach

A home-away-from-home on Barbados' West Coast, close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. You'll feel like you are in an oasis; morning sun-drenched patio facing traditional island foliage, cool en-suite bedroom and a spacious living area. With modern air conditioning in the bedroom, full kitchen amenities and excellent broadband internet for all your work or streaming needs, ‘Le Phare’ ("lighthouse" in French!) gives you all you need for a relaxing vacation. The space The apartment is traditional with its red clay tiles throughout and typical Caribbean design. It has an open plan living area, and there is a fully-equipped kitchen with all the essential appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, grill oven, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker) so you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun on the patio! The bedroom is air conditioned and has a queen size bed (UK king size) and generous storage and closet space. The bathroom has a shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water from the solar heater on the roof. The large enclosed patio faces the gardens with traditional Caribbean foliage, and keep a look out for visits from hummingbirds! With our excellent wifi you can sit on the patio and work uninterrupted! As an added bonus, if you are staying with us you have exclusive use of the pool, facilities and bar at the Beach Club with its modern pool and lounging area overlooking the beach. The Beach Club and closest beach are both located 5 minutes walk from the property. Remember to take the access card with you (provided on arrival), but more importantly, remember to leave the card in the apartment before you leave! The area around the condominium is safe and secure. The property has traditional wrought-iron windows and patio door, with a lock on the outer door. The inner door has a lock and an insect screen, but we suggest you could enjoy leaving the windows and doors open to allow the cool Caribbean breeze flow through the property. Note: - for stays of two weeks or more, cleaning is provided at the end of the first week. Fresh sheets and towels are available in the condominium for your use. - there are no laundry facilities on-site, but arrangements can be made locally should this be required and there is a laundromat just a short distance away Guest access There is a dedicated parking space available Other things to note We are quite flexible with the checkout time, as we recognize that many of the flights leave late in the evening and you don’t want to be hanging around all day in the heat and with all your luggage! If you let us know in advance your expected departure time, we will do our best to allow you to keep the apartment until you need to leave for the airport.
