We are a few steps away from Guadalupe Church, conveniently located between the lake and the town itself, right on “La Calzada”, a beautiful street known for its atmosphere of shops and restaurants. Casa Marina is a welcoming getaway with an open colonial design, with high ceilings, an ample patio, and two bedrooms with private bathrooms with air conditioning for a confortable good night’s sleep. About Granda: Founded in 1524 we are Nicaragua oldes town, located on the shores of Lake Nicaragua. We are home of multiple Spanish colonial landmarks that have survived repeated pirates invasions. The city main plaza (central park), just a few blocks from casa Marina is dominated by the colorful, neoclasical facade of the cathedral of Granada, originally dating to 1583. Nearby is the old San Francisco convent, famed for its displays fo pre-Columbian statues. Getting around town from here is real easy, because almost everywhere is within a walking distance. Late afternoons, everywhere in town, including your neighboors will bring out to the sidewalk rocking chairs and enjoy a relaxing afternoon while taking in the breeze from the lake and order take out from the gourmet restaurants just accross the street.... If you like to jog, you can follow the Nicarguan great Lake is just few blocks away from the house. Let us know if you require transportation upon arrival and we can arrange for an airport pick up, and If you are renting a car there is parking available just a short distance from the house. Getting around town is real easy from our house, because almost everywhere is within a walking distance and you can always catch a ¨coche¨ from central park and experience first hand how of folks in the XIX century got around, these are carts pulled by horses to take you for a quick tour around the city.
