THE LANTERN

Located in the mecca of tourism, Chichicastenango offers visitors a quiet atmosphere full of mysticism and a mixture of customs and traditions... a town that wears colors on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the year through its market of handicrafts and products brought from nearby areas. The space we offer is a warm, simple atmosphere with basic amenities, something new for us so any suggestion for improvement is welcome...!!! The space The space is located on the third level of our house, a space that shares access but is independent of the rest of the house, one of the rooms has a private bathroom, hot/cold water, just outside the living room of the accommodation we have created a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by various flowers that allow a pleasant atmosphere to share, read or just spend a moment... Guest access Access to the accommodation is shared as it is on the third level, common areas such as the terrace are areas that we could normally use.... Other things to note Thursday and Sunday are the happiest and most colorful days. Throughout the month of December, as well as on holidays, Easter, and All Saints' Day, the atmosphere is a bit more special than the rest of the year. It is also IMPORTANT that you know that the hot water system in our house works exclusively with a Solar Heater, which is why if the weather is cloudy it could be that the temperature it reaches is not hot enough
