Wake up to a Misty River view the clifftops! Please be aware that this is on a remote corner of a working farm so you may at times hear distant noises related to farm activities! The electricity for this site is supplied by a diesel generator but is is located away from the camp and is barely audible! You may also see some of our Black Angus cattle in pasture or encounter some of our organic, pasture raised chickens on the drive to you camp (not near the camp). The only security camera is covering the parking area where you will leave your vehicle (about 0.3 miles away from camp), the camp is private and not monitored in any way! Also be aware that while every effort is made to keep facilities free from insects, it is still in the mountains and you will likely encounter some insects. Please be aware of this before you book. Other things to note Please be aware that this property is not service animal friendly due to the wildlife in the area, the UTV and being in a bio secure area. The UTV is not safe for animals of any sort and if a service animal is accompanying you the UTV will NOT be available to use for safety reasons. If you need to travel with a service animal we ask that you book one or our other listings which are more animal friendly! Please discuss this with host before booking with a Service animal so you can fully understand our policy! Please be aware that you may see and hear a variety of wildlife Including: Whitetail deer, Black bear, Eastern coyote, Red and Gray fox, Bobcat, Squirrels, Racoons, Porcupine, Bald eagles and other wildlife native to Pennsylvania! These are not a threat however if anytime you are uncomfortable we will be glad to address any wildlife situation at any time.
