The Monkey Lair is a cozy place for 1 or 2. It is rented because of its amazing views! It has a private bathroom and kitchenette with a fridge, micro and cooktop. Sliding glass doors allow you to close should you need a/c or leave wide open and enjoy the fantastic ocean breezes! It features the New Queen Futon Memory Foam bed that can remain open or folded for more floor space. Hammock right on your porch! Enjoy the pool just steps away and the ocean only about 30 steps past. The space The Monkey Liar is our smallest rental space. It is 16x16. We welcome the backpacker - light packing guest as there is not a lot of storage. It is located over the community kitchen. It has a screened-in wrap around porch that provides you with excellent ocean and pool views. The property is filled with lush tropical plants and flowers and among them is 11 villas (all unique in their own way). Our resort is for guests 10 and older. Our newest building right on the beach features a sundeck for sunbathing or amazing full western exposure sunsets! The view is amazing!!! Fabulous White sand Beach and the crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling and swimming. As you read by our reviews, our service is second to none! We have a fantastic dock with palapa and hammock, which is something that is rare to the west side of the island. We have two pools. A special feature is our amazing outdoor kitchen. It has a large BBQ grill to cook that fish you caught or that you purchased from our fish guy that drops in often. And you will find paintings and carvings everywhere on the property! We are between West End & West Bay (15-minute walk or 5-minute water taxi ride). The gorgeous, large, private, beautiful beach is groomed every day. We have Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Snorkel Gear, Hammocks, Lounge Chairs, Towels, Corn Hole and lots of beach games for your use. And we have Coconut trees for shade and outside showers all around the property! Turtle Beach has four, 2-bedroom Villas, One, 1-bedroom Villa, 2 Cabins, 3 Studios and a three-bedroom home. All have Full Kitchens with stainless steel appliances and all the gadgets (yes all have coffee makers and blenders), Stone and Tile Bathrooms and Hammocks. Six of our villas have fantastic ocean views! Every villa has A/C, Wi-Fi, Smart TV's and 5-gallon water jugs. Even at the dock you will get WIFI so make that family back home jealous by a Facetime call! We have one pool that is Ocean Front and another that is Ocean View so you can sip a drink in the pool and watch the sunset. Our outdoor kitchen is located at the upper pool and is a blast for 2 or for 10 to cook outdoors together and soak up the afternoon sun or enjoy happy hour for the sunset! We are Private yet close to everything--- Bars, Restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Within a 5-minute walk are several wonderful bars and restaurants that give you everything from casual food with lots of happy hours and live music to some of the best 5-star cuisine on the island! The National Park is an amazing 8-minute Beach front walk away. Here you will find zip lines, monkeys, macaws, iguanas and a wonderful tour to give you the history of the island. The diving, swimming and snorkeling is excellent right here in front of Turtle Beach. We will fill you in on that! The Beach front walk to West Bay Beach or West End is about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute water taxi ride. We are located at the halfway point between West End and West Bay. And we have dedicated Water Taxi's or Land Taxi's that can be called at any time for you! Or with our location we are lucky enough that water taxi's past by all the time and you can just hail one down if you don't feel like walking. The fantastic Clearwater Adventures Dive shop is right next door on the next dock over (as they grew out of the place on site). And you have access to all the other water sports and fishing right from our dock where they will pick you up. We have full Western Exposure, so the Sunsets are dramatic and different every night and they never get old to watch from the many vantage points we have. You will not be disappointed here. The reason many people leave other places while on the Island and they come here is because of the location, THE SERVICE and all we have to offer. There are no crashing Waves because the Reef is about a ¼ mile offshore right in front of Turtle Beach. You can scuba dive, swim with the dolphins, Zip Line, visit the brewery, fish, parasail, eat till your hearts content, do Island tours or my favorite just relax on the Beach and float in the ocean. With every guest we strive for all 5-star reviews, so we know you will be happy. We love Wedding, Reunions, Girls Trips, Guys Fishing Trips and Birthday parties where the whole group rents the place out for themselves. And we love to have our Honeymooners too as they find it paradise here. Turtle beach has an independent driver who can pick you up from the airport/ferry, take you to the grocery store and then bring you to the property. The cost is based upon how many people but it is very reasonable, and the driver is wonderful and dependable with a welcoming smile on his face! As the first representative you meet from Turtle Beach, we wouldn't have it any other way! He also does Island tours and any other pickup you may need. We look forward to your stay here. Guest access Turtle Beach is oceanfront with kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear included. We have two pools and tremendous customer service! Wifi, Netflix and 5-gallon water jugs included in your rental. Guests love our outdoor kitchen for dining and gathering to socialize. We have tons of beach chairs and towels for your use. Our dock is great for morning coffee or afternoon sunset! Or hang out on our observation deck! We have so many places to chill and find your spot.
