Peaceful Paradise in the Heart of the Crowsnest

We offer an authentic Swiss style continental breakfast. Flexible check in. Check out at 11am Great location where you can hike or bike right from the house, close to main street Blairmore and all that the Crowsnest and southern Alberta has to offer. One of the best views of the Crowsnest valley looking NW over Blairmore toward Crowsnest and Tecumseh mountains. A great space for couples, solo adventurers, outdoor enthusiasts and tourists who want to experience this spectacular area. The space Guests have full access to our one-bedroom, walk out, basement suite. The bedroom includes a luxurious King size bed, our guests consistently comment about how comfortable the bed is. There is also a queen size, fold out, cabinet bed, in the living area with quality four inch memory foam mattress. Right outside your bedroom door, the private washroom includes a separate adjoining room with walk-in shower. Your private living area includes a comfortable sitting area in front of the large, reclaimed brick, woodburning fireplace. A second adjacent sitting area includes the cabinet bed and two comfortable leather lounge chairs with ottomans. Enjoy Wifi on your personal electronic devices, read a good book or enjoy watching Netflix or Amazon Prime on the flatscreen TV with sound surround. Step out onto the secluded covered patio that has a comfortable table and chairs to sit and relax, enjoy a drink, or a meal. You are also invited to enjoy the back yard which is surrounded by a municipal nature reserve, relax in the hammock or on the lounge chairs. Keep an eye out for the Deer that regularly visit or possibly even a Moose or Wild turkeys. Your space includes a Keurig coffee machine with sustainable reusable pods filled with fresh ground coffee, electric kettle, tea and snacks, an oversized mini fridge with separate freezer compartment, a microwave, and a toaster oven. There are table and chairs to sit and eat inside as well as the patio table on the covered patio. Also amenities such as iron and ironing board, hair drier, books, board and card games, home gym equipment, etc. Guest access Access is through our front entrance and down the stairs off of the entry foyer, or around the side of the house down the stone, solar lite, path and through the private patio entrance, weather permitting. If we're not immediately available we will give you a code to use on the key pad lock on the front door. Other things to note Enjoy a true Swiss style breakfast as you would find in Ruth's home region of Switzerland, with Ruths fresh made juice, also ask about Ruth's home made Kombucha.
