Cozy (yes, that means small!) bedroom with full-sized bed. Private bathroom/shower attached. Entrance to bedroom directly from street. TOTAL privacy. Free (no time limit) street parking on our block and on many of the adjacent blocks. Great location; short stroll to the Fillmore. Wifi, linens, mini-fridge and coffeemaker included. No TV. Some guests seem surprised that the BR is small, but that is why this is perfect (best) for crashing for a night or two. Keypad entrance The space This is a small private bedroom/bathroom with its own entrance directly to the street . People find it very homey and quite comfortable, but since it is small it is best for guests that are "crashing" for a night or two, or those who will mostly be out and about and just want a clean, comfy place to sleep. Free wifi, with a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. NO KITCHEN; NO MICROWAVE and no easy place to wash dishes. There is no place to sit and eat in the room except the bed. (This is really a cozy, comfy space to crash for a night or 2. Some people seem surprised that it is small and there is no microwave/kitchen or place to sit and eat in the room. This room is great for guests who expect to mostly be out and need a clean, comfy place to sleep. You have total privacy in your bedroom/private bath We can't hear you, and you can't hear us! There is free (untimed) parking on our block and the surrounding blocks. You never know how easy or hard it will be to find a space (this is the city!) but there is always a space to be found within a few blocks. There is NO PRIVATE PARKING provided! Convenient (walkable) to all of Fishtown's hot spots, but on a pretty, quiet block. Guest access You will get the code to the keypad (and instructions) the day prior to your arrival. The door opens directly into your bedroom from the street. (The door has a dead bolt inside and it is a steel door, so you are totally secure; this is a VERY safe neighborhood). We will be available to help you/answer any questions when you arrive if you text us. (Instructions will be given with keypad info). You won't ever see us unless you need something! Enjoy your privacy and freedom to explore Philadelphia's hippest neighborhood. During your stay This room has its own entrance (from the street) so our guests have no access to the rest of the house and will only see us if they need something. We will leave you to enjoy your solitude, but are available if you have any questions or issues while you are here. You will receive our phone numbers so you can text us if you need anything or if have any questions/concerns during your stay. Otherwise, you can enjoy your privacy! Other things to note Most guests love the cozy space; if you are expecting the Ritz Carlton, this is not your place. It is clean, comfortable and convenient and we have made the most of the space, but you should note that it is quite small We can be flexible with check-in/check-out times but can't guarantee flexibility unless you clear it in advance. We ask guests to provide an ETA for arrival and ask that they text when they depart. Checkout time is 12 noon. We usually can allow a flexible checkout if arrangements are made in advance. Last minute requests are trickier since we may have to clean for a new guest. (You can almost always leave luggage to pick up later if you are checking out but want to store your belongings) We try to be as accommodating as possible!
