Beautiful and spacious house in Center Merida close to Santa Lucia. Traditional materials and modern amenities. 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. .WiFi and ceiling fans. 2 pools, three different common areas. Parking for 2 cars (small SUVs or sedans). The space Our beautiful house is located in Merida Centro, close to Paseo Montejo, the main and most beautiful avenue that connects the traditional Merida with the new and more modern part of the city. The space is divided in two houses (one with a little pool, the other one with a large one) in the same compound which is great for large parties because each person can have a personal space to chill or all the guests can share the main house open terrace, lounge area and kitchen. The houses have double height ceilings and pasta floors, honoring the classic Merida style. Here you will find the best of both worlds: all the amenities you will need to make a great and relaxing vacation while you enjoy the ambiance and tranquility of a Mexican house. The rooms Big house The main bedroom has a king size bed, TV, closet and a very spacious bathroom. From the main bedroom you can exit to the garden, pool, and all the common areas of the house where you will be able to enjoy the warm weather. The second room has two double beds, closet, bathroom with its own private little garden. This bedroom opens to the garden and pool. The third bedroom is on the upper floor, accesible from the terrace. From here you will be able to enjoy a little more privacy and breathtaking views of the Centro at night. It has one king size bed, closet, bathroom. Just outside this bedroom you will find another terrace with a lounging place to rest or take the sun during the day. There is another full bathroom next to the pool. Little house The main bedroom has a king size bed, TV, closet and a spacious bathroom. From the main bedroom you can exit to the living room and the pool or to the small garden and the pond where you will be able to enjoy the warm weather. The second room has two double beds and closet. The full bathroom is located just outside the bedroom. Too hot? Do not worry! Turn on the ceiling fan in your bedrooms and enjoy. You can also take a relaxing nap on the very comfortable hammocks just outside the bedrooms or refresh in the pool. There are also ceiling fans in the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and the main terrace. The kitchen We tried to maintain a typical flair in the kitchen while adding modern appliances. In the kitchen area you will find: Fridge Stove Oven Toaster oven Microwave Blender Pots and pans China, mantelpieces and cutlery for 12 Glasses and wine glasses Serving trays and more Please feel free to use everything as if you were in you own house. Guest access Here is some useful information to make your stay more comfortable. WiFi access throughout the house. Electric door control Parking space for one car. If you rented a car there is a spare control for the electric door, please ask for it and remember to return it the last day of your stay. Thank you! House keys You will have a set of keys, please close the main door at night and do not forget to leave them when you go back home. PLEASE don’t lose them, it’s very complicated to find a locksmith in Mérida, specially on the weekends. Pool towels The house has special pool towels (blue and white or blue and yellow). We would really appreciate if you use only this for the pool. If you take them out (to the beach for example) please be sure to bring them back. Water Water from the faucet is not suitable for drinking in most parts of Mexico. Please buy bottled water (jugs and bottles with clear labels are OK) and stay safe. Parking We have a garage (which is pretty rare for Merida). It fits two sedans or smalls SUVs, a car bigger than a Sienna will not fit through the door. Other things to note PLEASE do not lose or misplace the house keys. We don't have many sets and finding a locksmith in Merida is an ordeal especially on vacations / weekends. Librada lives far from the Centro so please don´t make her go in the night to open you a bathroom door. You can find more keys inside the drawers in the little armoire at the entrance of the big house or in the maple armoire in the little house.
