North Pole Cabin Retreat
This lovely cabin is tucked into a wooded location convenient to North Pole Fairbanks and Eielson. The cabin is arranged with TWO UNITS on one foundation and PRIVATE ENTRANCES for each unit. There is a FRONT unit (sleeps 5) and a REAR UNIT which enters from the SIDE. (Sleeps 3). Each unit is self-contained with a common wall between them. One unit has two queen beds and a hide-a-bed twin. The other unit has one Queen bed and roll-a-way twin, kitchen and private bath.Linens and Dishes provided The space Cabin is private but your host is on the same property and available to help. There are two cabin units, but you do not share their space at all. There is a common wall and some sounds could transfer from one cabin unit to the other (considered as the ONLY negative thing about this lovely cabin rental). 17 years of HAPPY GUESTS. Guest access Your cabin unit is strictly YOURS. All private and only for you. (Bath area, cooking area, and both sleeping areas--one on the main floor and one up in the loft area--both queen beds. Parking is nearby with 150 feet to walk from your vehicle to the cabin unit. You are provided your own key and a second key is available in the event you lock yourself out. Other things to note There is a kitchen in each cabin unit. Dishes, utensils, and cookware is provided. If you need more, just let me know and I will assist as I am able. Cabins have full range with 4 burners and oven, small size refrigerator with separate freezer, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, and efficiency kitchen sink. Table and chairs for 4 are in cabin and outside there is a picnic tables (one with an umbrella covering) and two BBQ grills. One propane and one charcoal. I provide coffee and tea bags in the cabin, but many guests purchase their preferred brands. NO food is provided (unless there are special requests made and agreed upon). There is a full grocery and liquor store within 1 mile of our address. The bus system could be used. There is a stop within 1/4 mile...but the frequency is over and hour wait between and connecting with other buses may seem tine-consuming to a traveler. I recommend renting your own vehicle. Small SUV or car is fine. Our roads and well maintained and you need not feel as if you much reserve a large 4-wheel drive vehicle. front wheel drive and ALL-WHEEL drive are quite sufficient, although you still must use good driving skills.
