Located on the banks of the famous Kenai River near Sterling, AK, , our premier rental cabin, which we call the Eagles Retreat cabin, sits on 5 acres of private waterfront with incredible sockeye salmon shore fishing as well as fishing for other salmon species and trophy rainbow trout. We have over 350 feet of the best bank fishing on the Kenai River. Please note: Our upscale cabin sleeps up to 9 people and our rates vary depending on exact dates and the number of guests staying in the cabin. The space Our Kenai River cabin offers top notch lodging, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths overlooking the river. The cabin can sleep up to 9 people. You can prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen or barbeque your salmon on the deck BBQ. After catching your limit of salmon from our private shoreline, you can sit around the cabin firepit and tell fish stories. However, many anglers target the Kenai river's huge run of red (sockeye) salmon which most years exceed over 1 million fish entering the river over about a 4 week period. Fishing for other species such as silver (coho) salmon, pink (humpy) salmon, trophy rainbow trout and dolly varden is also available in the Kenai river as well as in other nearby rivers such as the Kasilof river and Quartz Creek. We are also only a short drive from saltwater, and halibut fishing charters are easily arranged. We can customize fishing and lodging packages to fit your needs. Unguided fishing for red (sockeye) salmon from the shore of our Kenai river private waterfront is excellent during the season and is arguably the very best bank fishing on the river. This exclusive shore fishing is along our over 350 ft. of private waterfront. Rods, reels, nets and boots are provided. Guided fishing can also be arranged.
