Lake Carite Treehouse

Enjoy & explore the beauty of Lake Carite by staying in a Treehouse, located on top of a hill in a small tropical Farm. Surround yourself with nature of Carite Forest and explore a hidden gem of Puerto Rico :) The space This treehouse is privileged located in the Carite Forest, inside a small tropical farm and in front of pristine Lake Carite. The farm is a low impact agriculture project for local consumption and amusement. You can explore the lake in kayak and many of it's hidden wonders, go fishing or hiking around the lake. The cabin is made of wood and has three floor and a balcony. The property is powered by Renewable energy and the water is rain harvested and from a deep well. It has a bathroom and outdoor shower. The cabin have a cooler with ice for food storage and cold drinks. They neighborhood is mostly forest and nature, only a few private farms on the area with good people around them. The road to the farm is mostly paved until the end (like 1/4 mile) that is a gravel/dirt road till the farm entrance. In most weather the road is suited from small cars to SUV, but if we get a storm with lots of rain it could get a little muddy, but any car will made it to the treehouse without problem. There is one restaurant on the way to the treehouse called "El Churrasco Loko" open Thursday to Sunday and one local convenience store called "Colmado Camacho" (some grocery, ice, snacks, ham, cheese, bread, etc, etc) that is open every day from 7am to 5pm. The is no nearby public transit from monday to saturday, on sundays usually there is a little more people going to the lake for fishing or cooking. This place is unique for its biodiversity, scenery and fresh air. Many people in Puerto Rico known it as the "Hidden Paradise" because is hidden on a dead end road to Lake Carite.i Guest access Access to lake and lake view. Open patio and terrace. BBQ area. Fire pit Walk around the lake. Fishing. Other things to note Arrival time should not be later than 5:30 pm EST. Exceptions can be made, although not recommended since it gets dark and is more difficult to find the treehouse.
