These taxes are collected by Airbnb. The Airbnb service fee (revenue to them) is about 14%. If you wish to make a longer-term booking off-season, enquire about discounts, depending on the season and the length of stay. The Way Inn is on the West side of Bamfield, across Bamfield Inlet from the road access. Therefore, you will need either your own boat, utilize the water taxi service ($10 per person per trip), or float plane. World class fishing awaits, as does the northern end of the West Coast Trail, kayaking in the Deer or Broken Islands. Moorage on the property is available directly in front of the Way Inn for $1.50/foot/night, up to maximum 32'. Larger boat might be possible, as might second boat, depending on width, and boating skills. Enquire first before booking. Moorage is available to general public as well as guests on a first-come, first-serve basis, generally from early May to late October. The moorage space is generally limited in the winter as the outer float and connecting dock are removed to a safe location to avoid winter damage.
