The space If you want to live a true Newfoundland experience, this is the place to stay! Boyce's place is a hub of activity; many locals stops by for a visit, or a card game. Boyce and friends will keep you entertained during your whole stay. If you catch a cod he will cook it up fresh for you that night. His fried codfish is one of the best tasting in the area! Boyce is a true local, born and raised in Quirpon. He knows Quirpon and the waters around it like the back of his hand. Best of all he likes to share his knowledge. His place is located right on the water and is a spot many a local fisherman come to visit and help clean fish. Take the opportunity to watch how it's done and listen to the local dialect. You may learn a phrase or two! If there is no fishing, go sit on the dock and look out at Quirpon Island. It's a great spot to relax. Guest access All places are accessible, except the other bedrooms. Other things to note As much as Boyce likes to welcome all people, he unfortunately is allergic to dogs so he would be unable to accommodate people with dogs. Also, the place is not wheelchair accessible. All guests are welcome to use the kitchen, however, if you are a vegetarian or vegan please know that meat is cooked on the premises. Boyce also offers boat tours whether it be for the viewing of icebergs, viewing of the mighty whales and according to rules and regulations set out by government you may experience jigging cod.
