Restaurants, shopping and gentle walks in local parks are close by. 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver, that can also easily be reached by bus to avoid parking for concerts, FIFA, etc. and an approximately two-hour beautifully scenic drive will take you to Whistler/Blackcomb.
