The Little Orange Yurt at Cabot Shores

This 12-foot diameter Mongolian Yurt comes with a double bed and camp chairs to sit on the deck and look at the great view of Church Pond & the Atlantic Ocean. On clear nights you can open the canvas roof and see the stars through the skylight. A bathhouse with shower and washroom is located a short walk away. You can also bring your furry friend for an additional $15 a night. A battery powered lantern is provided for light in the night time. Japanese ofuro soaking tub on the deck. The space Your yurt is part of the whole Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort with gardens, forest, apple orchard, Church Pond and access to the Atlantic Ocean. if you like the great outdoors, you can go for walks and swims, rent a kayak, canoe or paddle board, explore waterfalls with two hikes out the door, have a fire under the stars... Or if you're playing an instrument, jam on the stage in our lodge. Or take some time and relax in a hot tub or sauna (for surcharge), join us for morning meditation and more. Guest access While staying with us, you have access to two big common rooms in our main lodge. Downstairs you'll find a ping pong/pool table, books and games. Upstairs we have a great room with a big wood stove, comfy couches, lots of books, free wifi and this is also where our Bistro is located. We serve breakfast and dinner, both featuring homemade and as often as possible homegrown food from our organic garden. Packed lunches are available after request, too. During your stay We act as a team and we can provide itineraries and information on local food, outdoor and cultural adventures, both at Cabot Shores and on Cape Breton Island. We can give recommendations on hikes, local boat tours and more! Other things to note There is no cell reception in Indian Brook.
