Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of our camp. Our camp is situated atop a hill in a pasture with a beautiful view. Our animals may be grazing below you, and you will see mountains in the distance. Accommodations include a small cook stove, a picnic table, a queen size mattress. Available outside is a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, a battery run shower, a 5 gallon Coleman water cooler, and an outdoor toilet in its own tent. You may feel free to walk the property and visit the animals or stroll through the woods on your own. We work during the day, but are here evenings and weekends and are glad to help you out anyway we can. We live in a very rural setting, but a 35 minute drive to Saratoga Springs with museums, horse racing, night life, music and festivals or Manchester, Vermont for sightseeing, outlet shopping, and wonderful food. We are also a short drive to hiking in the Adirondacks or Green Mountains, fishing on the Batten kill River, canoeing and kayak rentals. You can drive up to the camp so no hiking in. We are on a rural road, but only 10 minutes from coffee shops, and grocery stores. There is a queen size bed. If you have more than two people I can set up a couple of cots.
