Cabin with Amazing Balcony Views

Set in a tranquil corner on the lakefront in Santa Cruz La Laguna surrounded by tropical gardens. Our beautiful cabins are set high up the hillside with fantastic views of the lake. The cabin has a sliding glass door that leads out onto your private balcony with deck chairs to enjoy the view. We have a restaurant lakeside that serves delicious homemade food from scratch. We can also help arrange transport and help you plan any excursions during your time here at the lake. The space Our cabins are set in the hillside and therefore require a climb to reach. You will be rewarded by fantastic views of Lake Atitlán, however if you have any physical limitations or do not wish to climb stairs, then please ask us about our other listing for our garden suite. As we are an ecological establishment, our hot water is solar powered. This means that it is susceptible to weather, and once it is finished, it requires time to replenish. Guest access The hotel is located on the waterfront, in Santa Cruz la Laguna and there’s no access by land. Once you arrive in Panajachel, all you need to do is get to the Tzanjuyú dock at the end of Calle del Embarcadero, where all the boats leave for San Pedro, San Marcos and Santa Cruz (anybody knows this dock and any travel agency will drop you there). Once at the dock, take a boat (25Q per person) to Santa Cruz - they leave every 30 minutes, first one at 6am and the last one at 7.30pm-. Please remember to ask the driver to drop you at IslaVerde’s private dock so you save yourself a little walk from the main dock (10mins). If you come by car, you can leave it in Panajachel in a parking lot called “kayucos” At the end of “Calle del Embarcadero”. Other things to note We are pet friendly, however there is a Q150 extra per night charge for you to bring your pet. Our restaurant serves breakfast and lunch from 8am until 4pm and we always have a set menu for dinner (Q150 for three courses) please sign up for dinner before 4pm.
