The space As experienced and persnickety travelers ourselves, we designed this spac with the goal of creating a place we would love to stay. High ceilings and clean lines create a bright, airy atmosphere. The open-concept kitchen, dining and living areas have a modern/industrial look and every amenity you need to settle into your new home base and explore one of Portland’s most interesting neighborhoods. Set the coffee maker to wake up to the smell of one of Portland’s famous roasts. The spacious king bedroom is fitted with luxury linens and plenty of extra space for a yoga mat or two. The bathroom is bright and clean, with original claw-foot tub/shower and extra-large towels. The second bedroom, off the kitchen is a cozy hideaway for up to three kids (bunk bed is twin over full), another couple or a quiet office for mom or dad. Additional guests may sleep on the queen sofabed in the living room. The house sleeps 1-6 adults or a family quite comfortably, making it perfect for a romantic getaway, family vacation, in-laws' visit, friends' weekend, or even a solo business traveler who wants to explore beyond downtown. Stereo with ipod/mobile-compatible cord/jack. 60" Smart 4K TV with most streaming services, Airplay, and basic cable. Clothes washer and dryer in unit. Grassy, shady, fenced back yard is available to guests. Includes deck with dining table and six chairs. In the front you'll find a covered porch with four chairs. FOR KIDS: Pack n' play, high chair, stools, toddler friendly toilet seat and a selection of toys and books for kids under five are on site. Other things to note This is a free-standing, single family home with all living space, including laundry, on one level. There are approximately nine steps from the street to the front door. The lower three steps do not have a handrail, so if accessibility is an issue, this may not be the home for you. There is one off-street parking space and plenty of on-street parking out front.
