Guest access As a guest of the Vinorama community, you will experience off-the-grid comfort with full access to your own private panoramic roofdeck, 2 balconies and 1 patio. Villa guests also have stair access to the amazing private community beach with sand bottom and swimmable section (rare on the rocky East Cape.) The beach staircase is just steps away from the Villa. Community swimming pool, shade palapa, fire pit, outdoor shower and courtyard located right out your front door. Fast Internet throughout with Wifi enabled phone reception. In unit washer and dryer (detergent included.) Daily cleaning and laundry can also be provided for an additional fee. Other things to note The Villa has AC in all 3 bedrooms with ocean breezes throughout the entire house. We highly encourage ocean air breezes versus AC. All guest rooms have ceiling fans. Please use ceiling fans during the day and save the air conditioner for sleeping. One aspect of living off the grid is you do have to be somewhat mindful of not wasting power. As long as you do that, there is plenty. Due to community HOA requirements, we are unable to accommodate groups larger than 6 individuals max. If more than 6 guests enter, we will have to ask you to leave. Also, we are able to pre-authorize up to 2 vehicles to enter the gated community grounds. Vehicle information will be requested prior to arrival (or if using a rental vehicle, details can be collected at the time of your arrival.) Thank you for your understanding! Solar: Living off the grid is an amazing experience powered by solar/ batteries and a backup generator. We do ask that you practice conservation with electricity and water to respect the area. That said, there is plenty to use and enjoy. Solar batteries are easily damaged by the load that electric heating elements draw. For this reason, the community does not use things like toaster ovens, irons, toasters, electric coffee pots, hairdryers, flat irons, etc. Instead, you will find gas powered appliances that better support the Villa's off-the-grid lifestyle. Driving: The area is very safe, although the roads are unpaved, sometimes bumpy and not well marked. We recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle for comfort and for exploring. Although all roads are two wheel drive passable, we really recommend taking it slow to enjoy every moment. Baja is not about being in a hurry. **IMPORTANT** We strongly ask that you do not drive on any beaches to protect the sensitive wildlife of the East Cape. Thank you for helping preserve this pristine area! Ocean Waters: The Ocean (Sea of Cortez) is generally quiet and warm. If you are unfamiliar with it, we recommend swimming with another competent swimmer in case of distress. You are your own lifeguard. Stairs and Accessibility: Please note if you have accessibility issues with stairs. There is a staircase to the second floor (location of Master Bedroom, guest room and roof deck door.) The roof deck is accessed via a metal, spiral staircase. Beach access is steps away from the villa via a cement staircase with approx. 40 stairs.
