tiny2 b&b--cozy trapper cabin

tiny2 is the second cabin now available at tinycabins mccarthy! tiny2 is a bit smaller than tinycabin, at 11'x13' inside, with an additional 6'x11' screened-in porch....come with someone you love! but trust us, we lived in it for more than a decade, and it's more comfortable than you might imagine. we hope you'll make tiny2 your cozy homebase while you explore mccarthy/kennecott and the largest national park in the states, wrangell-st. elias! The space this traditional trapper cabin was built in the early 1980's and inhabited by busy locals for years. we've restored every inch and now it's cleaner and brighter than ever before! one room of handhewn spruce logs has it all...a comfy bed, kitchenette, dining table/chairs, bureau and reading corner. the attached screened porch offers a bit more space to relax "outside" without pesky mosquitoes! it's just enough space for two people and only 2 blocks away from downtown mccarthy. perfect location to watch locals come and go from friday night softball or swallows fly to and from their nest boxes. we welcome you at tiny2! Guest access guests have tiny2 to themselves and the front door and screened-in porch face away from the other cabins on the property. guests also have their own private, newly constructed outhouse nearby. the outdoor hot shower is next door, under our deck, and is shared with both us and the tinycabin guests. Other things to note tiny2 guests have a small kitchenette in the cabin, stocked with essentials for simple cooking. a 2-burner propane countertop stove allows guests to make their own continental breakfast with provided coffee, tea, oatmeal/cereals and milk. guests may bring their own additional food and use the pots/pans to cook for themselves. a small cooler is provided to store food. 3 restaurants are also only 2-3 blocks away. wifi is available at tinycabins, but may be a weak signal at the cabin. you can walk next door to our cabin and get a better signal from outside our home. only verizon cell service works in mccarthy. AT&T does not work here.
