This is a Victorian home built in 1836 and totally restored in 1991. Was operated as a B&B for over 20 years and now available for vacation rental ( entire home) starting June 1, 2023. Located at 6447 Main Street Main St. in Westport, New York with views of Lake Champlain. PLEASE NOTE: ALL PRICES SHOWN ON THIS LISTING ARE PER NIGHT for the entire house. This price does not include breakfast. Discounts apply to length of stay. Cable TV and A/C in each bedroom make summer stays even more comfortable. The front porch has tables for dining and couches, chairs and hammock for relaxing with views of Lake Champlain. We are located on Main St. in Westport just across from Ballard Park and Lake Champlain. The rear porches have Adirondack chairs for relaxing and enjoying the English Garden and the Victorian Lady fountain. Each bedroom has a private bath. A two bedroom suite is located in the rear of the house with a private entrance and a porch with a dining table, bench and Adirondack chairs. All bedrooms are located on the second floor. On the first floor you will find a living room, parlor with fireplace, formal dining room with seating for up to 10 people and a full kitchen. Washer and dryer are also available in the pantry located off the kitchen. There is also a bathroom located on the first floor next to the kitchen for the convenience of all guests. The Carriage House is located on the second floor of the garage with a private entrance, California King bed, couch and coffee table,coffee maker, large screen TV, desk and bureau area and full bath with large shower. It is also air conditioned. The Carriage House can be rented in conjunction with the main house to sleep up to 13 people or separately for 2 people for one night, a week, multiple weeks or a month. Prices vary based on length of stay for all rental options. You will have full access to the entire house for your stay. You are welcome to add the Carriage House suite to your stay for 2-4 additional people. Carriage House suite prices are established on the AirBNB site. This suite has a California King bed, couch, TV, AC, refrigerator, coffer maker and full bath with over sized shower. This Carriage House suite is also available to rent on its own for a smaller group or couple. Pricing varies with every option so please call to confirm rates. We are available to offer any assistance required and answer any questions you may have during your stay. If you are staying as Bed and Breakfast guests we will be making and serving you a three course meal designed to make you relax and enjoy the experience. If other guests are in the house all guests dine together at 8:30AM. If you have rented the entire house for family then you have the option of doing your own cooking or being B&B guests and enjoying our dining experience. Westport is a beautiful little town located on Lake Champlain inside the Adirondack Park. With views of the Lake, Vermont and the Adirondacks we are surrounded by hiking trails, fishing, relaxing alternatives, golf, restaurants, biking paths and so many other activities they are impossible to list. We will be happy to help you explore all the possibilities when you arrive. Amtrak has a train from NY city to Montreal that runs everyday with Westport as one of its stops while heading north and south. We are also only 4 miles for the Northway, Route 87, approximately a 1.5 hour drive to Montreal, 2 hours north of Albany on the Northway, RT 87, 40 minutes to Lake Placid, 1 hour from Burlington and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga. We are centrally located to all the main attractions in this area of the park with the main attraction being Lake Champlain itself. We are a pet free home. Guests at the Victorian Lady have the options of renting the entire house for a family vacation, renting the house and the Carriage House to accommodate addition members of the family or renting just the Carriage House for short or long term stays.
