A fun "glamping" (glamorous camping) experience from mid-May through mid-October. This unit can accommodate children but please note that with two extra beds brought in it will be very cozy! The extra beds are most suitable for children or light adults. This charming large wall tent has most of the amenities of a regular room, yet it is "glamping," or glamorous camping. The queen bed is super comfy, and we can provide a roll-away and/or padded cot to accommodate extra people. It has electricity and furnishings to supply all your needs, including clean robes and flip flops for the outdoor bathhouse. Fresh linens and towels are also supplied. Outdoor furniture includes chairs and a picnic table. We encourage guests to plan for picnic fare rather than full on cooking since facilities are limited. We do provide a camp stove for making coffee or tea, which you should plan on bringing. We also provide a coffee pot, compostable paper plates and flatware, ceramic cups, and a hand washing basin (and soap of course). We can also supply a cooler and ice. Food and non-water liquids are not allowed in the tent to avoid attracting insects. A few important things to note: 1. It's important for us to know the approximate time guests will be arriving (the day of is fine) so that we can plan our chores and dinner around it. We need to be here to greet guests and show them a few things. Please plan on arriving before 9 p.m. 2. This IS camping, and there are sounds from nature as well as farming practices in the area. Yet most of the time it is very peaceful. 3. Breakfast is not included. Some reviews may mention breakfast because we used to have a B&B on site. In addition to the large grassy area around the bunkalo, guests are free to wander over to the barn and visit the horses, but please don't feed them without checking with us first. We let the amount of interaction happen organically. We're blessed to be in a beautiful country setting but so close to the little town of Talent. We love Talent! There is a fan inside for the hot summer nights. There is no heat for the cooler months but we do provide lots of blankets and wood for the fire pit, tho not during fire season. We are able to include additional beds but note that there is not a great deal of room with three beds (one queen, a roll-away and a padded cot most suitable for younger kids). This unit does not accommodate dogs.
