We have a courtesy shuttle for our guests, just let us know when we need to pick you up at the airport (ferry terminal). Papke’s Bed and Breakfast is located outside the town of Petersburg , Alaska on Mitkof Island. We are part of the Inside Passage and well known for the beautiful views of the surrounding majestic mountains. Wrangell Narrows is a salt water channel just a few minutes walk from the Bed & Breakfast which provides our clients with the opportunity to enjoy the true Alaska experience through the activities such as fishing and sigh seeing from Papke’s Landing. While enjoying a BBQ on our deck you can watch the Bald Eagles, perhaps get a glimpse of a Sitka deer and occasionally a Black Bear. Falls Creek and Blind Slough Rapids are rivers close by offering Salmon and Trout fishing. There is also the opportunity to participate in hiking on many of the fine trails such as those on Crystal Mountain . You can arrange for boat rentals and other activities such as whale watching, glacier tours and sightseeing by plane or helicopter.
