Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (6-8 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2026) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests. The space 2 Level cottage. Please bring sheets, bedding, and your personal towels. Propane and firewood included. Toilet paper included. Tea towels included. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage, and the property that includes walking trails. My guests will also have access to private property at the lake, where there is free parking, and other amenities I provide for visitors to the area. I also have plenty of room for trailers, boats, etc. Other things to note NO PETS......This also means that the farm dog is not allowed inside. Please do not let Neechii inside. She is a farm dog and is trained to stay outside. (occasionally I can make exceptions depending on circumstances. Just ask me) Children are counted as guests. Please do not move indoor furniture outside. Do not use the rain collection barrels for garbage. Please do not use the tea towels as rags. I recommend bringing paper towels.
