We have central air, a Nest thermostat and Nest Protect smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and reverse-osmosis water filtration. The backyard: A treehouse, a sandbox, and a 5-foot-tall climbing dome for the kids. A new gas grill and a picnic table for the grownups. And plenty of towering trees to provide shade during the hot summer days. Because this is a rare downtown TC home with an attached garage, the fenced-in backyard is larger than usual and wide open for game-playing and fun. Guest access You're a 5-block walk to the nearest Lake Michigan beach (and the TART Trails), a 9-block walk to the downtown restaurants, bars and shops on Front Street, a 10-minute drive to the wineries on Old Mission, 20-minute drive to the Horse Show grounds, a 20-minute drive to Suttons Bay and the beauty of Leelanau Peninsula, a 22-minute drive to Interlochen Center for the Arts, and a 35-minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There's room to park your car (or cars) right in our driveway and the whole downtown and lakefront is easily walkable from here.
