You'll feel like you're in a hidden sanctuary, yet it’s just a short drive to Highway 53, providing quick access to El Yunque, stunning beaches, vibrant restaurants, grocery stores, and essentials like Walmart, Walgreens, and gas stations—all within 10-15 minutes. Whether you seek relaxation or exploration, your perfect island escape starts here. Depending on the season you may find fresh bananas, coconuts, mangoes, avocados, plantains, recao (culantro), achiote, chirimoya, or fresh eggs for the taking. There is almost always a breeze and a bright sunset that wakes you, the sound of coquis (frogs) to put you to sleep, and when it rains, sometimes it can be cool - you may need a sweater on rainy breezy nights. Guest access With this reservation you have access to the whole house and just under an acre of land. Full use of the property and grounds. The property is on one fenced acre, but surrounded by acres of undeveloped land. Our caretaker comes by to cut the grass and check on the property., feed the chickens, etc. There are exterior noise and video monitors, and neighbors within earshot even though they aren't easily seen. This property has a strict no parties or unregistered guests policies, so if your intentions are to host an event thinking no one may notice due to the secluded locations, please continue looking. Other things to note You will be most comfortable if checking in during daylight hours. It is very dark at night in the country. We are a self-check in operation in and strongly recommend that you arrive in daylight hours (before 6pm winter, 7pm summer) so that you can see the property well and arrive easily!
