The space The lower floor of this skillfully designed home has an open floor plan with views of garden areas from every space. Downstairs contains the entry, 1/2 bath, living room, dining room, and kitchen which all flow seamlessly among the two inner gardens, interior spaces, and rear yard with pool beyond. In the kitchen, stainless steel counter tops and appliances (including professional stove and extractor hood), and custom wood cabinetry are further accented by a full subway tile back splash. This kitchen and dining area opens to and has views of the pool and outdoor living space through a full glass wall. Upstairs you will find the home’s three bedrooms, all with en suite baths. The one perched at the front of the home has its own stairway as well as a private terrace. The other two are accessed through the striking staircase in the home’s center garden . The clear roof of this center space is motorized and can be opened for even more airflow but is also fully mosquito screened. All bedrooms have built-in storage and closets. The rear bedroom suite overlooks the pool from its own balcony to enjoy the morning and nighttime breezes. Outside is where most people in Merida spend their time. With walls of sliding glass on both the main and upper levels, this modern home makes the most of this lifestyle, but most of your time will be spent near the pool which is filtered and fed by its own well. There is even a shaded sitting area beyond. Although the home has excellent airflow, staying cool naturally, ceiling fans are located throughout and AC units are installed in all three bedrooms. The home has both a water softener and reverse osmosis purification system. Best of all, Casa Kaleidos is located on a quiet Santiago street and very convenient to shopping, restaurants, activities and the Santiago park with its incredible mercado for fresh seafood, local vegetables and fruits, spices, and so much more. Guest access The entire house is for our guest use. Interaction with guests Your stay at Casa Kaleiods will be managed by the DH Real Estate team who are hands on and take care of this home as they would their own. They will be at the home to welcome you and to get you orientated with the house and the neighborhood. They are on call 24/7 and can help you with all your needs whilst staying in this home. Neighborhood overview This home is located in Santiago, one of the most desirable areas of Merida and within walking distance of Paseo de Montejo, many restaurants, cultural activities and more in this beautiful historic city.
