Hillside Retreat

Beautiful private guest house located in a quiet neighborhood in the hillside of South Anchorage. The space is airy and bright with modern amenities, and a separate entrance for privacy. It is the perfect home base for your Alaska adventures. Conveniently located to Anchorage's hiking, biking and ski trails, and minutes from Old Seward Highway South-bound toward Girdwood, Seward, and the Kenai Peninsula. Ideal for a single traveler, couple or small family. The space 800 square feet above a detached garage. Guests have their own private entrance around the back with a flight of stairs to enter. Guests will receive a key code by text or email before check in. Our guest house has a spacious bedroom with one queen size bed, full size kitchen and living area with a sleeper sofa that folds out to a double size bed. There is 1 bathroom with shower/tub and private washer and dryer for guest use. The space has a well-equipped kitchen including refrigerator/freezer, oven, gas stove, oven microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and essentials for cooking. The nearest dining and grocery stores are about 10 minutes away so guests may want to stop for food before heading our way. We have a friendly K9. She is not allowed in your space but may greet you in the driveway when you are outside. Guest access Guests have private and ample parking for their vehicle and immediate access up a small path to enter the stair access.
