The Bear’s Den treehouse lodging.

Nestled in the woods, accessible year round. Very private & quiet. No hunting on this property but enjoy great fishing. Pizza & burger take-out just 10 min away. Lots of water close by for kayaking/canoeing. ATV trails just a few km away. Firewood supplied. Please bring your own drinking / wash water. Pets welcome, but Not on the furniture unless you’ve brought a cover. Never leave pets unattended. No running water. Outhouse/toilet facility. Bring your own disposable propane tank if BBQ’ing. The space A radio & CD player are provided. Toaster, electric water kettle and 1 burner hot plate for cooking are provided. Also a small BBQ but you must bring your own propane. There is an outside shower stall using rain water. (for summer months). A wood burning stove heats the cabin in the winter. Guest access Located on a 100 acre wooded property, which the back portion borders on the North Branch of the LaHave River. A great fishing area and swimming hole there, but you must hike or ATV in to it. It is a 20 min hike. Other things to note Bathroom facility is an outhouse. We now have free range chickens on the property. They’re our pets. They stick close to home and don’t wander off, but if you’re bringing a dog that may chase or kill them, that’s not acceptable.
