There is a full-size futon to accommodate a family with small children(up to 2). You will have beach towels, extra bath towels, and extra pillows and quilts for your comfort. If you are interested in golf, Palmas offers two recognized courses. There's is horseback riding at the beach, snorkeling lessons, a forest, hiking trails, a kid's park, a skate park, a marina, several restaurants, and bars, a market, shops, a hotel, and nightlife so you don't have to leave the resort during your stay. There are also golf cart rentals that you can use to explore the premises. However, there is plenty to do if you decide to go outside of this piece of paradise. Please be aware that unfortunately the electric system in Puerto Rico is still fragile and power outages may occur. However, it is usually restored quickly. Recently, we have had occasional sargassum. It’s unpredictable as is a natural event out of our control. Please be aware that they may be strong currents and follow advisory flags before entering any beach on the Island. Take highway 52 south (Just ask when you rent the car how to get the Highway to Caguas). 10 to 15 min on the highway you will see a partial toll (you don't have to pay) stay on the right (exit 14). Quickly after that exit, take the second exit on the right (Road 30- Humacao). After 18 to 20 min you will see Palmas Del Mar Street signs on the right. Take exit 30A. 3 to 5 min later take Exit 53. Pay toll and stay on the right lane, take the second exit to the right (35B to Candelero Drive), and at the end of the loop make a right. Seconds later you will find Palmas del Mar main entrance to the left.
