PLEASE READ the additional notes 📝 Our Central Stay is located right in the heart of Kingston on lively Constant Spring Road, our cozy 2-bed, 2-bath apartment is perfect for travelers who love convenience. You’ll be steps away from supermarkets, pharmacies, laundromats, gas stations, and easy public transportation! The space is in a gated residential complex and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, comfy living room, WiFi, and cable TV. Come enjoy the energy of Kingston, centrally! Personal parking in #23 or “V” Other things to note What to Expect During Your Stay We’re happy to share our modest, character-filled space with travelers who appreciate comfort, simplicity, and transparency. To help you feel fully informed before booking, here’s what you can expect: Driver Available: Day Rate Driver, Task Runner, and Tour Driver Available. Reserve with your host, Tamara! 🏡 A Home with Character: Our apartment is a charming fixer-upper, with a few aesthetic quirks like damaged tiles, dry paint drips, and other signs of wear. These are purely cosmetic and are being improved over time—they won’t affect your stay. ❄️ No Air Conditioning: There is no central AC, but we provide fans in every room, including the living area, to help you stay cool. 🚗 Street Noise: We're located on a main street, which makes getting around easy, but also means you may hear some traffic, especially during the day. 📞 Gate Phone: A mobile phone will be provided to guests for access to the main gate. It will be pre-loaded with credit based on the length of your stay. If the credit runs out, guests are responsible for topping it up. Flow service rate: $100 JMD credit = $1 USD. 🏃‍♀️ Stairs Only: The apartment is on an upper floor and is accessible via two flights of stairs—there is no elevator. 💡🚱 Occasional Utility Interruptions: While rare, short-term water or electricity outages can happen in the area. We do our best to notify guests and assist if it occurs during your stay. 🚭 No Smoking Indoors: For everyone's comfort, smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Residential Community: This is a residential apartment in a building with long-term neighbors who’ve lived here for years. We ask that you be respectful of their space and keep noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours. 🧺 Laundry: Washing and drying machines are available for guest use on the basement level of the complex. Coins can be purchased from the security personnel Monday–Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Each machine requires one coin. Guests may also opt to use the outdoor drying line located on the property. Cost: 1 coin = $400 JMD (approximately $2.50 USD) ✨ A Budget-Friendly Choice: Our space is priced according to its simplicity, its quirks, and its charm. It only occurs when rain falls. It is currently being rendered and will be done by mid-January.
