Looking for a cabin rental near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor? Lakeside Cedar Cabins are nestled on 450 feet of wooded lakefront on Graham Lake in Ellsworth, ME. You’ll love us because of our proximity to many Maine attractions while being just off the beaten path! Hiking/biking in Acadia, sunrises at Cadillac Mountain and eating lobsters are some of the favorites here. No need to leave the property with swimming, fishing or kayaking right at your doorstep! Lakeside is good for everyone! This is a beautiful rustic cabin that rests right on the shore of Graham Lake. Enjoy relaxing in the peace and quiet! There is a wood stove in your cabin for those cool Maine nights. Firewood can be purchased (most of the time) on site for $3 a basket (about 10-12 pieces), but wood can also be purchased around the area. Ceiling/floor fans are also in the cabin. The WiFi router is in the rec hall. The cabin has weak or no signal. You need to bring shampoo and body soap. Hand and dish soap are provided. Enjoy walking around the 3 acres of wooded property that rests on the shore of Graham Lake. Swim, boat or fish on the lake. Challenge a friend or other guest to a game of horseshoes or bocce! Warm up by any of the 3 outdoor fireplaces and eat a smore. A rec hall is on the premises with tv, ping pong table, pinball and fuss ball. Or help yourself to a book from shelf to read on a hammock. Wifi is available with the strongest signal in the rec hall. There is free parking for at least one vehicle. Additional vehicles will have to be figured out with limited extra parking available. We are located just off the beaten path to Acadia but close enough to everything you need. There are two grocery stores, drug stores and a Walmart, as well as a laundromat located right in Ellsworth which is just a short drive away. Lobster pounds and other dining options available all around. Public transportation is generally not used in Ellsworth. However, once you get down on the island to visit Acadia there is a free bus that will take you all over. We highly recommend using this as traffic and parking sometimes get to be a hassle. There are 3 fire pits in the common area to enjoy an outdoor campfire. Canoe/kayak/paddleboat rentals are available for $20 for use of one at a time during your stay on a first come first serve basis , and use of a second at same time is available for additional $20. There is a horseshoe pit, bocce court, ping pong table, and fussball for use in the common area free of charge.
