My concept is community tourism. Tourists will have the opportunity to meet Jamaicans from all walks of life. Indeed, they will whet their appetites about our culture, by being exposed to jerk chicken/pork made in the jerk pan downtown, have an opportunity to worship in our local churches or Kingdom Halls, drink coconut water from a coconut and eat the meat(which is not a meat at all) at the local market and drink alcohol from our local bars. Plus, a myriad of real Jamaican experiences. Guests have the opportunity to smoke at Treaysures but outdoor. Guests are allowed to use any open area in the house and on the property. The use of the kitchen and the laundry room however will attract an additional cost. At Treaysures apart from the bedrooms the property has a medium sized backyard, a patio, living, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. Guests can have access to all these areas but the laundry room and kitchen will attract an additional cost. At Treaysures my guests are home, hence I am always available to my guests. Santa Cruz is one of the main country towns in the parish of St. Elizabeth apart from Black River its capital and the growing town of Junction. Treaysures is located in a cul-de-sac of a road dubbed Prep School Road because of the Prep School located on it. Not all family is blood and on Prep School Road, it no different, here we are all our brother’s keepers and is a community governed by shared values. We are centrally located-a mere five minutes walk to the main town,Santa Cruz, three minutes walk to the local clinic, four minutes from the Police Station, two minutes walk to the Kingdom Hall and a maximum of eight minutes to any church or bars or ganja supplier. We are more than just a country home with modern amenities. Implicit in our accommodation is the unconditional love, care and concern we offer to all our guests. The person’s who help to make Treaysures what it is are simple people with big whole hearts, from the housekeeper, to the butcher, the driver and even the candlestick maker. Charter a local taxi-man; we recommend Alphanso (Fonso) or Gary and be chauffeured around. 3. Take a route taxi or walk.
