Our cozy little studio is located in the heart of Spenard (Anchorage, AK) an awesome walk/bike friendly neighborhood. Just a 20 min walk to downtown and a short walk to Bear Tooth Theatrepub, Spenard Roadhouse, Middle Way Café, Hearth Artisan Pizza, Kaladi Brothers Coffee, Grocery Stores, and Walgreen's. Washer/dryer free onsite. We provide handmade soap finely crafted right down the street by Denali Dreams Soap Company. Everything you need to have an enjoyable stay is provided for you. The space Located in the heart of Spenard this property is conveniently close to downtown (30 minute walk or 6 minute drive), midtown (10 minute walk) and the airport is about a 10 to 13 minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi and a beautiful fenced yard. You will be staying within a block or two of Bear Tooth Theatrepub, Spenard Roadhouse, Mama O's, Chilkoot Charlie's (right next door), Buckeroo Club, Anchorage Cycle, Celestial Sweets Boutique, Cafe AK, Middle Way Café. Only a few blocks away is Carrs Grocery Store, Walgreen's, REI, Title Wave Books, Tommy's Burger Stop, La Bodega, Buckeroo Club. Local Spenard Farmers Market located directly across the street from the property (Saturday's only May - September 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM). In addition, Food Truck Carnival happens every Thursday for lunch across the street (May - September from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM). Guest access Private back entrance to unit. There is a free washer/dryer onsite. The backyard is fenced and there is a patio table with umbrella. This is a triplex that has a business upstairs (private bridal boutique) and two units downstairs. You will be in #3 the studio unit. Upon arrival pull all the way up the driveway. Please make sure to leave enough room for another car to pull up next/beside you. You will enter through the gate and there will be a lock box to the right of the door. Enter the code given to unlock the exterior door. You will need to enter the code again to place the lock box key back in the holder. The keys to your rental will be hanging on the white rack to the right when you enter the entryway and will have a #3 marked on the key tag. There will be two keys one for the two doors (exterior and entryway is engraved with an E) and the other will be for your rental. Please make sure to keep both upstairs doors locked. Other things to note We will have a couple of bikes available (summer months only) so that you can see more while you are in town. They are not fancy but they can get you around. This is a triplex that has a business upstairs (private bridal boutique) and two private units downstairs, one being this listing and the other a one bedroom unit also listed on Airbnb. With weekly rentals we give one night free, which is already calculated in the rate. For monthly rentals the discount is also calculated in the rate. Anchorage has a 12% bed tax for any stay under 30 days.
